Curiosity. That is the word I like to use in all my works, without curiosity we would never break the barriers of what we know, and we would stay in the same places as the beginning. The curiosity helped me for the last 10 years to
improve my
process and my work on different products, services and strategies I worked on.
Working in start-ups, as independent and in big corporations I cultivated my curiosity learning from other areas as business and code, and I realized the importance of knowing and speak the same language from other areas. This idea led
me to
learn about front-end (and even give a lecture in 2 courses) and take different business courses (who helped me to found new business models when I worked in start-ups).
At the same time, I learnt the importance of the connection between all these areas. When all the areas work in silos the only thing we get at the end is a product without a clear vision, aiming to different goals. I believe in an open and
collaborative process where all team can contribute and make them feel part of the project, and not only "they work on it". The MVP, the prototype, the quick test and the iterative process, are the key in the process and are going to be
the
difference between awesome products and really expensive mistakes. Even this small website is built under the same premise of constant improvement.
Oh yeah! why 3 weird words at the beginning you may ask? I'm from Chile where I worked as an independent, entrepreneur (Nomada.app, Zappada) and in fast-growing Start-ups call Toteat (where I worked a UX Designer and Lead Customer Experience).
At the end of 2018, I moved to Sweden with my wife, where I had the opportunity to work for Ericsson (to redesign ericsson.com and build a Design System) and Svea Ekonomi. Before moved to Sweden in 2016, I lived
in Canada where I fund "Diseno
para Chile" and this experience taught me the importance build team.
